Our software does not support the sending of any unsolicited advertising, or “spam.” All eDirect users are obligated to maintain compliance to both the eDirect Acceptable Use Policy and the latest regulations of the CAN-SPAM Act. We are committed to helping you develop marketing practices that are professional and ethical. We believe that responsible business practices improve the experience for both you and your customers.
To detect and eliminate questionable communications in our system, we use the following techniques:
- Limited Trial Accounts – Trial accounts can send to no more than 200 addresses.
- Double-Opt In Tools – Our tools allow you to create a double-opt in list.
- Email Advertising – eDirect provides the tools you will need to generate high profits in an email advertising campaign.
- Bulk Email Marketing – Reach more new clients and maintain contact with customers using our bulk email lists feature.
- Email Newsletters – Update customers regularly with high quality, attractive e-newsletters.
- Internet Marketing – Our software allows you to design and send e-newsletters, manage multiple email marketing lists, and create professional quality templates.
- HTML Emails – Create emails that get noticed with our HTML software tools.
- Opt-In Emails – Set up opt-in emails for increased customer feedback.
- Email Verification – We randomly review messages for content and subject-line appropriateness.
- List Verification – We double check very large lists before sending.
- From and Reply-to Verification – We check to see that all addresses are authorized.
- FRequired Unsubscribe Link – We ensure that all emails have an unsubscribe link.
- Clear Agreement – We require our customers to sign our agreement three times to ensure that our policies are absolutely clear.
- Automated and Reviewed Abuse Desk – We review and process all emails we
receive at abuse@edirectnow.com or postmaster@edirectnow.com
in a timely fashion. We maintain records of these communications and disable the accounts of any customers with multiple complaints.
- ISP and Blacklist Relations – We maintain good communication with ISPs and Blacklists and freely share our processes and procedures at request. We want to hear from ISPs and Blacklist administrators about how to refine our processes for better results. Please feel free to Contact Us.
